Change of licensed area - liquor licence
Change of licensed area (temporary)
When you propose to increase or decrease the licensed area for a temporary occasion, you must apply to change the licensed area.
Applications to increase the licensed area must include only areas adjoining the areas already licensed. A site plan showing the area to be included or excluded in relation to your usual licensed area must be supplied with your application. Applications must be lodged at least 21 days prior to the event date.
If applying online to increase the licensed area, OLGR will contact Queensland Police on the licensee’s behalf requesting their endorsement. This saves the licensee having to attend the local police station and avoid unnecessary delays.
