Applications for existing liquor and wine licences

Transferring a liquor or wine licence 

Relinquish your interest in the business or vineyard/winery to another party.

 

Extended trading hours permit (temporary)

An extended hours permit is an authority that allows licensees to extend current trading hours for a one-off or temporary occasion.

 

Variations and extended trading hours 

- Vary or change your licence (for example, live music, adult entertainment, and catering for functions) on a temporary or permanent basis.

- Approved extended trading hours on a regular basis.

Please note: A moratorium to 15 December 2013 currently applies to new applications to extend trading hours beyond 12 midnight. Read more about the extended trading hours moratorium

 

Alterations and additions to licensed premises 

Alter, change the layout of, or rebuild the licensed premises without any change to the licensed area description (for example, remove a wall, lengthen a bar).

 

Change of licensed area - liquor licence 

Increase or decrease the licensed area and/or alter or rebuild it in a way that will affect the licensed area description (for example, adding a footpath dining area, adding an adjoining piece of land, closing down a detached bottle shop).

 

Catering functions off premises 

Approval to cater to functions held away from the main licensed premises, if you hold a commercial other subsidiary on-premises licence, commercial hotel licence or commercial other subsidiary off-premises licence.

 

Detached bottle shops 

Operate up to three detached bottle shops away from the main premises, if you hold a commercial hotel licence.

 

Satellite cellar door 

Satellite cellar door to sell or give away your wine on other premises, if you hold a wine producer licence.

 

Conduct of other businesses

Conduct other business on your licensed premises if the business proves to complement the licensed activity (other special circumstances may be considered).

 

Gratuitous supply of liquor

An area of a licensed premises designated for gratuitous supply of liquor after approved trading hours.
