Renew a gaming machine licence

All gaming licences must be renewed every five years.  A reminder letter and application form is forwarded to licensees before the expiry date.

There are serious consequences if gaming licences expire. If a gaming machine licence is not renewed, gaming activities must cease. Your licensed monitoring operator will be advised to disable all gaming machines. All hotel operating authorities or club entitlements, will be forfeited to the state, with no opportunity for redress. If this occurs, licensees have to reapply for a gaming licence and purchase new operating authorities or entitlements at market rates.

The following kits have been developed to help you renew your gaming machine licence:

Kit – Apply to renew gaming machine licence (ZIP 630 K)

Form 3F - Application for renewal of gaming machine licence (hotel) or (club) by a body corporate (PDF 155 K)
