Wagering

In Queensland, wagering is regulated by the Wagering Act 1998.
A license is required to conduct race or sports wagering. In Queensland, UNiTAB is the only licensee authorised to conduct sports and race wagering.

Race clubs may apply to the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation to conduct a tote at a country racecourse using Form 5 – Application for an oncourse wagering permit (PDF 45 K). They must apply to Unitab first.
